Great expectations for lingerie
Article Abstract:
Emily Simpson started her bra company Full Bloom in 1994, but she switched her strategy from retail to mail-order sales after difficult relations with department stores. As a result, Full Bloom's sales have increased from $350,000 in 1997-98 to $550,000 in 1998-99. Simpson has introduced a toll-free number and a salesforce of fitters who visit customers in their homes. Her main product line remains comfortable bras.
