Hewlett-Packard warns banks to wake up

Dennis Roman, director of the financial market group and worldwide banking at Hewlett-Packard, commented that Australian financial institutions must make greater strides in adopting new technology or they risk being overtaken by outside competitors. Roman also stated that banks need to be more active in how they acquire, analyze, and use customer data; in other words, they need to become more aggressive.
