Article Abstract:

Peter Maurer and Felix Wong, owners of Advanced Portable Technology, pioneered the technology behind laptop and notebook computer peripherals. However, they made the mistake of losing sight of fundamentals. Maurer and Wong invested heavily in packet-switched radio technology, but upon completion, the technology had major structural problems and was expensive to implement.
