Labor and unions to be of a different accord; a rapidly changing union movement wil forge a new relationship with any future federal labor government

Article Abstract:

Past experiences with Labor Government have caused Australian labor unions to be somewhat resentful and cautious of the party. Although Labor officials promise that their party's power would be pro-union and pro-worker, unions have learned from the past and will be more sectional and open about their demands and will not tolerate policies that may be harmful to their members.
