Australia's health care industry market will expand with new offerings, many of them from government privatizations. Observers predict that property trusts will become popular, as they can provide specialization with long-term tenant security. Investors are also attracted to trusts as fixed-interest securities and cash alternatives, and look to U.S. health care real estate investment trusts, which produce an average annual return of 19%

Milt Barlow plans to build his Australian entertainment and communications enterprise by concentrating on branding and distribution, and by focusing on the video, online, television, and interactive businesses. Barlow's target is the 20-30 age group. Barlow has no financial backers, but he believes the Internet will be the backbone of his business, which is modeled after the Virgin group of companies.
