Memo: Taking Stock of Supplies
Article Abstract:
Buying and maintaining supplies to keep an office running smoothly takes planning. Planning can save money. Purchasing should be done regularly to avoid running out. To estimate, a detailed chart is divided into columns, one for each month. At the end of the month, the supplies remaining on hand are listed for each category. Those doing the purchasing should become familiar with the kinds and quality of merchandise available. Adequate storage prevents supplies from becoming damaged or misplaced.
