Ronald Reagan is preparing for his announcement concerning his election plans for 1984. The business community's part in the election campaigns is examined. Most political activity of businesses is channeled through the many political action committees (PACs) in existence. PACs will tend to support candidates who are friendly toward businesses. The shift between the Democrats and the Republicans is examined.

The Next Three Months on Capitol Hill
Article Abstract:
Politics will play a big part in the session between September and December 1983. Tax issues that will pertain to the business community are examined. Not much progress will be made by Congress due to the elections in 1984.
