Article Abstract:
The uncertainty on Australia's energy reform policies is examined. The chief factors on which the energy sector is divided on the issue are outlined. The problems that the energy reform confronts are attributed to the meddling of New South Wales and Queensland state administrations. The stance of the Ministerial Council of Energy is vague on the functioning of the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) and the Australian Energy Market Commission.
