Ahold tiene previsto comprar mas empresas enEspana al margen de Caprabo

Article Abstract:

With the final objective of reaching the first position of the supermarket chart in Spain, the Dutch retail group Ahold has announced its intention of continuing expanding its presence throughout the territory. Analysts estimate that Ahold has nearly Pta 100,000mn cash to support such expansion plan. At the same time, Caprabo, the Catalonian retail group, has revealed that without having been advised on Ahold's plans in Spain, is re-considering its 50% alliance in the supermarket chain 'Store 2000'. Ahold claims that Caprabo has always known its plans, but it does not have the sufficient capital to face such investments.

People tiene 4.000 millones para comprar empresas

Article Abstract:

The Spanish temporary employment agency People, which is owned by the Dutch company Start, plans to acquire small companies of its sector in Spain. Some Pta 4,000mn will be invested in the expansion operation. In 1998, the company expects to increase its turnover by 70% to Pta 16,000mn. Mr. Victor Garcia, managing director of People, claims that the company could start operating in France, Brasil and Portugal from the year 2000. In 1999, the agency will enter the handicapped people area of activity.

Las empresas de trabajo temporal creceran un30% este ano

Article Abstract:

According to AETT, the sector association, temporary working agencies in Spain will increase their turnover by 30% to Pta 200,000mn in 1998, compared to 1997. By the year 2000, sales are expected to double to Pta 400,000mn. The first five agencies make 61% of the total turnover, of which two are the Spanish companies Alta Gestion (Pta 38,500mn sales in 1998, +37%) and Flexiplan (Pta 18,000mn, +65%); the others are Adecco, Laborman and Manpower.
