Research into warehousing contracts is presented, with particular focus on different types of commitments and times when the commitments can be changed. Dynamic programming procedures are developed for warehouse contracts where the commitment changes are decided by the user.

Issues relating to total order quantity commitment (TOQC) are discussed. This is a particularly important dimension between buyer and supplier and it is shown to possible to obtain this mathematically.
