Mattel Inc., manufacturer of Barbie dolls, opposed registration of same trade mark by Montreal restaurants .But Supreme Court gave judgment against Manttel concluding that Barbie fame is limited to dolls and doll accessories but not to all type of services.

Battling the billboards

Article Abstract:

The removal of illegal signs and billboards across the city insisted by the Toronto activist group IllegalSigns.ca for violating city's sign bylaw is discussed. The billboards belong to outdoor advertising firms.
