Self-employment is legal in Cuba, but professionals cannot be self-employed in their chosen professions. As a result, many professionals moonlight as restaurateurs and taxi drivers, and teachers who offer private tutoring services fear government reprisals.

Article Abstract:
The Cuban government alleges that recent bombings are a plot by the US to disrupt tourism. There is a general suspicion that someone Cuban or foreign is responsible for the terrorism, and Cuban and US authorities suspect Cuban exiles in Florida.
