China's quest for overseas oil
Article Abstract:
Chinese national oil companies (NOCs) are expanding their operations on an international level, which is branded by the United States as mercantilist. The negative reaction towards the expansion of Chinese NOCs emphasizes the variations between U.S and Chinese oil policies, and might start a rift in the relationship of the two nations. Analysis of Chinese oli policies is provided.
