Article Abstract:

The demand for building sites at Orestaden, Amager , is lower than anticipated. In 1999, building site sales totaled DKr 522mn (USD 70mn), DKr 518mn of which were acquired by public institutions. Twelve months ago, prices were expected to increase to DKr 4,000 per sq. metre from DKr 2,200; in reality, the price has fallen to DKr 400-600 per sq. metre.

DENMARK: TOWN DEVELOPMENT PROJECT AT TUBORG

Article Abstract:

One of the biggest town development projects in Copenhagen is to be realized at Tuborg. The project totals 400,000 sq. metres. In the southern part of the area, the Danish brewery company Carlsberg is the developer, as in the northern part, where Carlsberg co-operates with the construction company NCC Denmark. The project includes both housing and commercial buildings.

DENMARK: TOWN DEVELOPMENT AT TUBORG SYD

Article Abstract:

The 20 hectares area Tuborg Syd (southern Tuborg), Copenhagen, will be subject to a town development project, like what is going on at Tuborg Nord (northern Tuborg). Buildings at Tuborg Syd will total 200,000 sq. metres, 25,000 sq. metres of which are earmarked for a municipal school.
