DENMARK: NOVO NORDISK BEST SUITED FOR THE NEW ECONOMY

Analysts at Nordea Securities state Novo Nordisk is the listed Danish company that is best suited to meet the challenges of the new economy. Nordea Securities's survey involved all 70 listed companies and A.P.Moller, GN Store Nord, NeuroSearch and Vestas were mentioned in positive terms in the survey. The criteria used by Nordea in assessing the companied include globalisation, brands, innovation and ability to make use of technology.

DENMARK: NOVO NORDISK NUMBER ONE

Article Abstract:

Novo Nordisk is the company with the best image, according to a study made by the Danish magazine Ingenioren, the Engineer. 4500 engineers and engineering students were asked questions about different companies, and Novo Nordisk was considered the best in nine out of eleven of areas, for example in career opportunities and corporate culture. Danfoss was number two, but far behind Novo Nordisk. The list included 100 companies.

Denmark: Cinema advertising tops the league

Article Abstract:

Cinema advertising reports the biggest growth among Danish media groups and achieves an index of 138 in the first three quarters of 2001 compared with the same period last year, according to Gallup AdFacts. Weekly magazines rank second with an index of 105 whereas the outdoor media ranks third.
