Denmark: Danfoss grants more funds to a university
Article Abstract:
According to Borsen's sources, Danfoss is about to grant a new donation to Syddansk University as well as to a new science park in Sonderborg. This comes only a week after a DKr30mn donation by Danfoss to the university. The Danfoss group is deeply involved in the planning of a new science park and a new university valued at DKr400mn (US$48mn). Danfoss ceo Jorgen Mads Clausen declines to comment the new investment at this point as there are a number of details of technical and legal nature related to the donation that need to be adjusted.

DENMARK: DANFOSS TO SELL OFF ACTIVITIES
Article Abstract:
The Danish industrial group Danfoss will sell off activities if they don't manage to become one of the three biggest companies in the world in their fields. So says CEO Jorgen Mads Clausen. The flow meter activities might be one of these sell-offs. Danfoss is not bigger than being one of the 10-15 biggest companies in this field, but these activities may be attractive, as the production process is modern, says Mr. Clausen.
