Laboratoires Garnier wants to conquer the 'young skin' market (the greasy and combination sking segment) through the introduction of a range of face care products, Synergie Pure. To face this, P&G has put a female touch in its Biactol range with a range of three products (lotion, foaming gel, washing cream). There is a multiplication in patches and strips which target the young consumers, while enhancing their scope to the forehead and chin (Beiersdorf, L'Oreal), not only the nose. Diadermine even presents a three-in-one strip for the three face elements. Though not a revolutionary product, the makeup removal tissue segment is subject to many innovations too. Laboratoires Garnier is expected to introduce a range of its own soon, following L'Oreal and Nivea which have followed in the successful steps of Diadermine in the segment.

FRANCE: TEMPORARY ZODIAC TATTOOS FROM BOURJOIS

Article Abstract:

Bourjois has launched an original product named 'Tatoo-Astro' (retailing in France at FFr 35 for the tattoo and the ink stamp, sold separately) which allows the user to (temporarily) tattoo his or her astrological sign. From 1 March until 20 May the Aries sign is available, followed by Taurus from 1 April to 20 May. Each sign is withdrawn from the market as the moon changes.
