Ford focuses on market share slide

Article Abstract:

U.S. automaker Ford Motor Co. has announced that it will turn its efforts to stemming the decline in its share of the U.S. market. Though in recent years it has de-emphasized market share as a managerial concern, the company is now hoping that its focus on the production of midsize sedans and crossover sport-utility vehicles will strengthen its presence in a market increasingly affected by the success of foreign automakers.
