Distillers jump on flavoured vodkas
Article Abstract:
Distillers are taking full advantage of the increased popularity of flavored vodka and spirit-based coolers. Vodka has emerged as teh second largest spirit category in Canada behind whisky with a 21.5% share of the total spirit market, but flavored vodkas and spirit-based coolers may take over soon. As a result, marketers such as Smirnoff, Seagram and Mosaiq Spirits have added new products to their vodka portfolios.
