Andy Gollifer and Mark Langston of architectural design practice Andy Gollifer Associates have an individual approach to their work. They believe in courtesy as a basis for working relationships, yet their designs are strong and the finished products are relatively uncompromising. The team is best known for the exhilarating and arresting Glass Centre in Sunderland, England, which has won a lot of admirers and some negative criticism. Gollifer and Langston possess complementary skills. Gollifer has design strengths and Langston is good at seeing the project through to completion.
