Hospital check-ups: two children's facilities put under scrutiny

Article Abstract:

Children at Great Ormond Street Hospital give their views of the hospital. Most say it is not like a hospital at all, but more like a combination of hotel and play centre. The Den play centre provides books and board games as well as a television screen and a video games console. The children felt that the staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed. However they complained about the classic hospital complaints, noises and smells.

Shoot out at the check-out

Article Abstract:

Declining brand name loyalty is due largely to competition between consumer goods companies to offer lower prices, which encourages shoppers to buy according to price rather than proven quality. Supermarkets are encouraging the trend by offering their own-label products.
