InBev blames malt, other costs for missing earnings forecasts

Third-quarter net profit for Belgium beverage company InBev S.A. rose by 8.4% to reach $759.6 mil, due in part to beer sales in emerging markets. However, the increase fell short of analyst expectations, and caused share prices to fall 12%. InBev has warned that higher raw material expenses are likely to impact next year's figures.

InBev net jumps as demand rises

InBev net rises, and brewer plans a share buyback
