Japanese department stores must adapt to a new trend away from designer name products. In a search for individuality and lower prices, many Japanese consumers want quality generic or private label products. If Japan's economy continues to decline, the demand for low cost quality goods will increase.

Article Abstract:

There are currently about two dozen governments in exile worldwide, ranging from the Tibetan government in exile which is based in India, to Rhodesia's government in exile, which is little more than an Internet pressure group. The true test is whether real governments recognise exiled governments.
