Push-back options increase

Article Abstract:

United Tractor Co has added to its extensive range of push-back and tow- tractors, namely, the SMLP-160D/-200D and the SMLP-400/500/600. The SMLP- 160D weighs 12,474kg and has a rated drawbar pull of 7,258kg. The heavier SMLP-200D, which weighs 13,789kg, has a 9,072kg drawbar pull. The SMLP- 400/500/600 are low-profile push-back tractors powered by a Cummins diesel engine with Funk 2000 power shift transmission providing six forward and three reverse speeds.

Tractor acquisition

Article Abstract:

Plymouth, OH-based Lynco Tugger Corp has completed the purchase of Rayco Manufacturing Co's Hydra-Tug and Mini-Mover tow tractor range. The Hydra- Tug is equipped with two independent front hydrostatic driving/steering wheels that are each controlled by a rear castored wheel and a steering lever. The equipment is designed to handle executie and general aviation aircraft. The smaller Mini-Mover can tow loads up to 18,200 kg.
