Mercedes to lose crown in luxury cars to BMW

DaimlerChrysler AG Mercedes-Benz of Germany, after a year of reorganization is about to lose its top market share position to archrival BMW AG. The luxury car maker has sold 961,000 vehicles compared with 1,020,156 by BMW AG. DaimlerChrysler AG Mercedes-Benz European market share is 4.6 percent this year, while BMW AG clocks in at 4.2 percent.
