Viacom to sell music-publishing unit

Sony/ATV Music Publishing Inc. will buy the Famous Music publishing division of Viacom Inc. Although terms were not disclosed, those familiar with the agreement say the price was $370 mil in cash.

SABMiller bids for rival Grolsch: offer of $1.2 billion marks effort to grow in premium markets

UK brewer SABMiller PLC has bid 816 mil euro bil for Dutch firm Grolsch N.V., an 84% premium to the firm's average share price at 48.25 euro. The shareholder threshold to approve the bid is 75%.
