PetroChina steps toward LNG deal with Qatargas

PetroChina Company Ltd. and Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Ltd. have struck a deal for Qatargas to provide long-term supplies of gas to PetroChina's Dalian receiving terminal. Dalian will have a per-year capacity of 3 mil metric tons and is expected to begin operating in 2012.
