Retail buys found in Japan: stock shoppers favor Tsutsumi, Fast Retailing

Article Abstract:

The stocks of Japanese retail firms Tsutsumi Jewelry and Fast Retailing are being recommended by analysts despite the current troubles of the Japanese economy and inroads being made by foreign competitors. Tsutsumi sells moderately-priced accessories to young women while Fast Retailing sells reasonably-priced casual clothes. Tsutsumi is doing better than its competitors despite its declining sales. Ironically, its sales decline will enable it to capture a greater share of its market.
