Russia plans to sell big stake in Yukos oil-production arm
Article Abstract:
Russian authorities are considering the sale of a large stake in Yuganskneftegas, the main oil-production unit of state-owned Yukos Oil Co. Valuation figures for the sale have been estimated lower than what investors would have expected, prompting concerns that the government is looking to sell Yuganskneftegas to a political ally at a low price.
