Sky-high hopes: Amadeus pushes more air bookings online - but is that enough?

Article Abstract:

Amadeus Global Travel Distribution SA has plans to develop its e-commerce potential, but critics are skeptical that the company's plans will prove fruitful. Amadeus plans to offer business travel services that will enable users to not only make reservations, but also enable them to plan their trips. However, critics believe that competitors such as Sabre are better positioned to take advantage of changes in the online travel business.

Less reliance on U.S. helps Amadeus
