Article Abstract:

The St. Augustine's school has a relatively large site with a wide geographical catchment area such that it does not need to be located tightly in a localized housing hinterland with more pressure on site area. It raised a starting budget of 1.7 million pounds to 2.4 million pounds after a study by Atkins for the Department for Education and Skills, when the design possibilities were seen for an excellent building on the site.
