Thailand's GMO growing pains

Article Abstract:

Thailand is contemplating using genetically modified organism (GMO) for its food industry and has commenced tests on GMO. The adverse repercussions such a move could have on Thailand's food exports, especially to the European countries and Japan are discussed. The trends relating to the use of GMO's in China, India and United States are also discussed.

A healthy precedent

Article Abstract:

A unique case dealing with gaining reasonably priced drugs has been settled in favor of plaintiffs in Thailand. Bristol-Myers Squibb was sued by two Aids patients for holding patents restricting the availability of drugs through pricing policies.

Thais clash with the FBI
