Honda's Web site emerged as the best among Web sites belonging to auto manufacturers, based on the consensus of a panel of three persons. The panelists cited the simplicity, ease-of-use and informativeness of Honda's Web site, which they believe would induce potential car buyers to visit a Honda dealership. They were also impressed by Web sites that have eye- catching graphics but present information in an easy-to-navigate manner such as those belonging to General Motors and Toyota.

Not your dad's car anymore

Article Abstract:

DaimlerChrysler launched the Chrysler Showcase and Proving Grounds campaign to counter the brand's image as not being hip among today's consumers. The company decided to display in shopping across Canada's major cities its current models including the 300M, the Neon and the PT Cruiser. Consumers were also invited to go over to the malls' parking lots and test drive a wide range of Chrysler vehicles including the Town and Country minivan and the Sebring convertible.
