The great game of infant-mation
Article Abstract:
The multimedia industry is relatively new but is rapidly maturing in a competitive marketplace. Originally, the video games makers aimed their products at children, but is beginning to target the young adult and family market. The UK industry's greatest strength is its plentiful creative talent and a successful track record of creating world-beating computer games, but it is hampered by a lack of international companies and cautious investment. A profile of some multimedia companies is presented, including Bullfrog Productions and Mindscape.

Article Abstract:
Company directors in the UK are often still unaware that their business can benefit if they become PC-literate. Furthermore, being familiar with how to use computers will also place directors in a strong position to make use of their company's computing resources. Using a PC can allow directors to improve decision-making, boost their personal productivity, gain competitive advantage and gain personal satisfaction. New users need to accept that it will probably take them some time to become familiar with the software.
