Fly-in teams arranged a series of cross-lease transactions with SK shipping for liquefied natural gas carriers while Macquarie Bank entered the Korean market with typical caution. Impressed by the opportunities in post-crisis Korea, Macquarie followed the standard strategy of setting up a series of alliances with well-established financial institutions.
