A woman of note
Article Abstract:
Stationery retailer Smythson is performing better than some other areas of the John Menzies group, according to managing director Sarah Elton. She has become respected for her forward-thinking style of management, and has even gone as far as to allow some staff to work four-day weeks. She has been a driving force behind a number of key changes at Smythson, including an outlet at Heathrow's Terminal Four, which is expected to lead to a 25% increase in sales.
