The British government has spent about $96 million on the study of mad cow disease but has also obstructed progress. A seven-year study by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food is erroneous and incompetent, illustrating the consequences of mixing politics and science.

Careless Britain
Article Abstract:
Britain's current services for the mentally are woefully inadequate at institutionalizing potentially violent and criminal individuals. Unfortunately, proposed restructuring of such services also fails to address this need.
