The toll for coal
Article Abstract:
Michael Heseltine has mishandled Britain's program to close coal mines; he must pursue it, or high prices and jobs lost in other industries will more than offset miners' jobs retained. Britain needs to continue privatizing, and let each fuel compete in an open market.
