To war
Article Abstract:
The German telecom market has been liberalized and a price war appears likely. Deutsche Telekom has seen the rapid development of competition and there are over 1,500 companies offering telephone-related services in the German market. Deutsche Telekom has had to cut prices and improve services. It is unclear whether the government will intervene, as Deutsche Telekom would like, and the company may be deterred from trying to be more efficient if it obtains too much protection.
