Trawl-maker hits export trail-sales to Chile and Alaska

The cut in hoki quota has compelled Motueka Nets Nelson Ltd. to hook towards Alaska and Chile as its new target markets. The company is planning to send a package wherein their skilled skippers can demonstrate the trawls to new customers, in the meanwhile the company is also eyeing on the US Pollock fishery where the company has supplied an all nylon trawl with hexagonal meshes for better water flow.
