Two new algorithms for UMTS access network topology design
Article Abstract:
Two network methods for planning universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS) access networks are presented. The first of the methods is a global algorithm using metaheuristic techniques to evolve an overall solution and the second method is a planning for single RBS-trees, which can be used to improve on each tree created by the first algorithm.
