USAF restructures RTIP for multiple platforms
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman Corp's Air Combat Systems sector has been awarded a $303- million contract by the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System Program Office at the US Air Force's Electronic Systems Center for design and development of the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP). The contract will include the development, fabrication and test of MP-RTIP radars that employ two-dimensional active electronically scanned arrays, but excludes integration.

T-RECS goes out on the prowl for EW targets
Article Abstract:
The Electronic Sensor and Systems Div of Northrop Grumman Corp has introduced its Tactical Radar Electronic Combat System (T-RECS). The T- RECS can be installed on different types of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles and can function as a receiver electronic support measures/electronic intelligence, a tactical radar jammer and a device targeting for suppression of enemy defense missions. It consists of an open-system architecture with a VME bus and VXI backplane.
