Women's group calls for revolution in working practice
Article Abstract:
Education was a key area of discussion at the 'Architecture and Construction 50:50' seminar held recently by the RIBA's Women Architects Group. Attention was also given to issues including the need for a more flexible working environment for architects and the reasons why many women drop out after doing much of their training as an architect. It was agreed that equal opportunities and ways of working are vital if the UK construction industry is to revive.
