Barrups Packard buys New York printer

Barrups Packard has acquired the assets of its rival, Global Financial Press Inc., located in NY. Although the company did not disclose terms, Barrups Packard's president, Joseph Weiss, said that the deal nearly doubles the firm's $30 million operation in NJ and Philadelphia.

Buyout firm to acquire Roy F. Weston for $51 million

West Chester's Roy F. Weston Inc. announced it would be purchased for $51 million by American Capital Strategies Ltd. of Maryland. Weston will become a wholly owned subsidiary of a holding company owned by American Capital Strategies and a group of senior Weston managers.
