Trying to revive his 'dream' of a physician network
Article Abstract:
Universal Physicians Management Inc. was formed by Harvey Levy, the same man who resigned in April 1998 after the failure of Allegheny health system's physician's network. The stocky official, who is known for his close links with Sherif S. Abdelhah, former CEO of Allegheny, said he will attempt to purchase physician practices from Allegheny. Levy said in an interview that his new venture may bring a lot of profits to those involved. Doctors, however, are doubtful whether Levy can still deliver after the failed promises of Allegheny health system's.
