Change?
Article Abstract:
The cross-functional direction that progressive businesses are taking is borne out of necessity and academe should start training their sights on such a development. This is because businesses in the 21st century require flexibility to change with technology, agility in positioning products, the creation of value for customers and speed to market capabilities. These traits cannot be acquired if barriers such as isolationism and thinking confined to functional boundaries remain. Hence, business schools should take their cue from progressive businesses to implement change.
