Collectibles business adopts Austin Powers; with an exclusive movie-prop replica license, the Bucks company hopes for a blockbuster

Collectible Concepts Group Inc (Chalfont, PA) is hoping Austin Powers' popularity will buoy sales of its film collectibles. CCG acquired an exclusive movie-prop replica license for both Austin Powers films from Time Warner's New Line Productions Inc. CCG has a staff of 10, and has produced replicas of over a dozen Austin Powers items, including the Shaguar car. CCG gained over $100,000 in revenues from its James Bond collectibles line in both 1997 and 1998.

Hoping slipcovers cover the country
