Computer-generated paper gladdens a records-storage firm
Article Abstract:
Pierce Leahy Corp., a records management company in King of Prussia, PA, has posted higher revenues from $73 million in 1993 to an expected $260 million in 1998. The improvement is due to increased business from new and existing clients and from the purchase of 55 smaller storage companies. The company, which is considered the biggest such firm in the US, counts the state of New Jersey, the city of Philadelphia, PA, and half the Fortune 500 companies as among its clients. The company provides storage and same-day or next-day retrieval of documents that companies and government agencies do not need in their offices but cannot afford to dispose of.

Peco's quarterly earnings rise 74%, TMI deal is near
Article Abstract:
Peco Energy Co. has reported strong third-quarter revenues, surpassing the company's own predictions. Industry analysts have said that the company has benefited from warm weather and strong performance from its wholesale power marketing subsidiary, Peco's Power Team. Company spokespersons attributed the strong earnings to its capacity to compete in a national market rather than depending on captive markets as well as the return to service of the Lower Alloways Creek, New Jersey-based Salem nuclear power plant.
