Horsham, Penn.-based VerticalNet Inc. will acquire SierraCities.com Inc., which is an online financial services firm, for $133 million in stock. VerticalNet, which offers e-commerce services to businesses, will be able to purchase more expensive products and services on the Internet through the acquisition.
