The political climate during the time of Edwin Edwards is compared with the political conditions at the time of Bobby Jindal's candidacy as Lousiana governor. Edwards is considered to be the most influential politician that Louisiana had seen after Huey Long. Edwards' remarks, principles, and lawsuits are provided.
